Meagan L. Grega, MD
Meagan L. Grega, MD, is the Co-Founder and Chief Medical Officer of Kellyn Foundation (www.kellyn.org), a 501(c)3 non-profit dedicated to making the Healthy Choice the Easy Choice. Kellyn provides school-based healthy lifestyle education and “Garden as a Classroom” programs; supports access to nutrient-dense produce via the Eat Real Food Mobile Market and Lehigh Valley Corner Store Initiative; engages participants in hands-on, plant-based cooking classes in community settings and offers intensive therapeutic lifestyle change interventions for individuals and families. She is a summa cum laude graduate of Bucknell University with a B.S. in Biochemistry/Cell Biology and earned her MD degree from the University of Pennsylvania Medical School.
Dr. Grega spent several years as a medical officer in the United States Navy, attaining the rank of Lieutenant Commander before resigning from active duty service. She has been a staff Family Physician at Hunterdon Medical Center, the Director of Women's Health Services at Lafayette College and is currently the Managing Director of Llantrisant Retreat and Wellness Center (www.llantrisantretreat.com), the home of Kellyn Foundation. She frequently lectures on the topics of Lifestyle Medicine at colleges, universities, hospital Grand Rounds, medical residency programs and community forums. Mentoring residents, medical, dietician and nursing students is one of her passions. She is honored to serve as adjunct faculty for the St. Luke’s University Health Network Anderson Campus Family Medicine and Internal Medicine Residency programs and as a faculty advisor for the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University/SLUHN medical student Lifestyle Medicine Interest Group (LMIG). She has been a featured speaker at American College of Lifestyle Medicine Annual Conferences, is a member of the True Health Initiative Council of Directors and serves as a member of several national task force groups dedicated to the expansion of evidence-based lifestyle medicine services. Dr. Grega is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, a Fellow of the American College of Lifestyle Medicine and is board certified in both Family Medicine and Lifestyle Medicine.
Child/Family health in general, and the obesity epidemic in particular, are issues in which Dr. Grega has had a long-standing interest. She believes the benefits of regular exercise, adequate sleep, supportive social connections, healthy food choices and the art of balance are the keys to improving our children’s future, as well as our own. Towards that end, she is committed to finding practical solutions that can be implemented by families and communities to strengthen each other physically, emotionally and spiritually.

Dr. Stoll is the co-founder of The Plantrician Project, The International Plant Based Nutrition Healthcare Conference, The International Journal of Disease Reversal and Prevention, and the Regenerative Health Institute; a unique collaborative project with The Rodale Institute that integrates a regenerative vision for human health, agriculture, and the environment. Dr.Stoll is the Chairman of the Board for The Plantrician Project. He also served as a member of the Whole Foods Scientific and Medical Advisory Board.

Christine Marchionni, MD, FAPA
Dr. Christine Marchionni completed her undergraduate and post-baccalaureate training at Bryn Mawr College, medical school at Sidney Kimmel Medical College and residency and consultation-liaison fellowship at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. While in her fellowship, she also completed a fellowship through the Psychoanalytic Center of Philadelphia.
After fellowship, she worked as an inpatient attending at Temple University Episcopal Hospital where her interest in education began as assistant medical student clerkship director for psychiatry. She received the faculty award for resident teaching while at Temple and was supervisor and mentor for residents.
Since joining St. Luke’s in 2016, she continued in her role as clerkship director and still provides weekly didactics for the students as well as giving lectures to family medicine residents. As program director, she is active clinically in consultation-liaison psychiatry, both in person and via telemedicine. Currently, she is an active member of AADPRT, APA and APM and she is the GME wellness representative for her department and will continue the advocacy of wellness in the residency.

Dr. Hans Diehl
Chosen as “One of America’s 20 Super-Heroes of the Health Movement” (Vegetarian Times), Dr. Hans Diehl is the founder of the Lifestyle Medicine Institute in Loma Linda and a Clinical Professor of Preventive Medicine at the School of Medicine of Loma Linda University, Loma Linda, CA. Offering more than 30 years of leadership in the emerging field of Lifestyle Medicine, his pioneering efforts as an epidemiologically trained lifestyle interventionist with the Complete Health Improvement Project (CHIP) and its more than 60,000 graduates have consistently shown how simple lifestyle changes can prevent, arrest, and facilitate the reversal of many of our largely lifestyle related chronic diseases. Bonnie Coyle, MD
Bonnie S. Coyle, MD, MS is Board-Certified in both Preventive Medicine and Lifestyle Medicine. She has worked in the field of public health for nearly 30 years. She is the Chair of Community Health and Preventive Medicine for St. Luke’s University Health Network, where she has worked for over 20 years. In her role at St. Luke’s she has successfully grown the community health department to serve eleven hospital campuses, securing more than $6 million/year from national, state and local agencies and donors to support initiatives. Along with staff she spearheads the completion of the ACA mandated Community Health Needs Assessments and community partnership development across all regions served by St. Luke’s. She is an Associate Professor at Temple St. Luke’s Medical School, serving on the medical school admissions committee and as the lead physician for HEARTS clinic, a medical student-run free care clinic. She is also an Adjunct Professor at Lehigh University for the past eight years, teaching public health classes for undergraduate students, and serving as internship and volunteer preceptor for numerous Lehigh undergraduate and graduate students annually. Most recently, she is leading efforts to implement a Lifestyle Medicine Service Line at St. Luke’s.

Andy Goodbred, MD
Andrew (Andy) Goodbred, MD, FAAFP, is board-certified in both Family Medicine and Lifestyle Medicine, and serves as Associate Program Director of St. Luke’s Family Medicine Residency – Anderson Campus. A summa cum laude graduate of Moravian College, where he was a member of the Greyhound football team, Andy went on to obtain his medical degree from Temple University School of Medicine before completing his residency in Family Medicine at St. Luke’s. Having previously served as faculty at St. Luke’s Family Medicine Residency – Bethlehem Campus, Andy took the opportunity in 2019 to assist in the opening of the new Anderson Campus program. A primary motivation in this decision was the opportunity to make Lifestyle Medicine a cornerstone of the program, and in 2019 the Anderson program was selected as one of only 11 residencies in the country to implement the Lifestyle Medicine Residency Curriculum.
A lifelong athlete, Andy enjoys incorporating his love of sports medicine and physical activity into his medical practice and his education of medical students and residents. Aside from chasing after his three young sons, Andy’s primary athletic endeavors and hobbies are hiking, running, weight training and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.

Elena Schumacher
Elena Schumacher, MPH, RDN, CSO, LDN is a health coach and dietitian in the Employee Wellness Department at St. Luke’s University Health Network. She received her undergraduate degree in Nutrition Science from Penn State University, completed a dietetic internship with the University of Delaware and a Masters of Public Health from Florida International University. She is a Certified Lifestyle Medicine Practitioner with the American College of Lifestyle Medicine. Elena has a strong passion for local food systems and plant-based nutrition. She developed and teaches, Make Friends with Food: A Plant Based Eating Class: a six-week experiential series where St. Luke’s employees can learn about incorporating more whole, plant-based foods into their diet to help maintain health and fight disease.

Known as the “High-Tech Doctor with Low-Tech Solutions,” Dr. Barnett is an Interventional Radiologist and senior partner with Borg and Ide Imaging in Rochester, NY, where he has practiced since 1986.
He is dedicated to transforming the practice of medicine using the principles of Lifestyle Medicine and Plant-Based Nutrition. Giuseppe Gugliemello, MD
Giuseppe Guglielmello, DO is a full-time Clinical Assistant Professor at Temple University School of Medicine. He received his undergraduate degree in biology and Spanish from Ursinus College. He then obtained his medical degree from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his internal medicine residency at Aria Health in Philadelphia and his pulmonary and critical care fellowship at Temple University Hospital. Dr. Guglielmello subsequently completed a dedicated sleep medicine fellowship, also at Temple University Hospital. He joined St. Luke’s in 2016.
Dr. Guglielmello has a passion for sleep medicine and strives for improved sleep diagnostics and patient care. He is actively pursuing advancement of research in sleep medicine. He currently serves as Sleep Director for the Warren and Allentown campuses. He has been elected to the honor of Fellow of the American College of Osteopathic Internists.
Dr. Guglielmello resides in Bethlehem with his wife, the program director for the psychiatry residency program, and their two sons. Dr. Guglielmello and his wife are avid Philadelphia sports fans.

Kathy Parmele, MD
Katerina (Kathy) Tsapos Parmele, MD, FACEP is a board-certified Emergency Medicine physician, Director of Wellness at CalvertHealth Emergency Medicine, a member of the Council of Directors for True Health Initiative and an active member of the American College of Lifestyle Medicine. She graduated magna cum laude in biochemistry from Harvard, received her MD degree from the University of Pennsylvania, and completed Emergency Medicine specialty training at the University of Pittsburgh. She is the founder of HealThySelf HealThyWorld, LLC (www.HealThySelfHealThyWorld.com) which aims to spread the lifestyle medicine message to clinicians in order to pay it forward exponentially to their patients. She has received her CHEF Coaching certification from Harvard's Institute of Lifestyle Medicine and is a Wellcoaches Health and Wellness Lifestyle Medicine Coach (www.CHEFCoachMD.com). She is an avid endurance athlete, having completed 15 marathons and 6 Ironman triathlons to date, and is competing in 2020's iconic Coast to Coast New Zealand adventure race. She is also an avid Greek cook and spreads the culinary medicine message to others one delicious forkful at a time. She lives in Edgewater, MD with her two children and two dogs.
William Duffy, MD
Dr. William Duffy is a career internal medicine physician and leader who embodies the role of clinician as educator, advisor, confidant, advocate and colleague. He holds a B.S. in chemistry from Seton Hall University, an M.D. from Georgetown University and is a Clinical Associate Professor of Internal Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. In over twenty years of practice, he has extensive experience in outpatient and inpatient care, perioperative consultation, as well as student and resident teaching. However, his primary focus is one of lifestyle modification as both prevention and treatment of disease. He focuses on the individual's health as a product of their unique environment and dedicates time to discussing nutrition, exercise, stressors, family, support systems, leisure time and physical feelings with each patient. He strives to be the best clinician he can be and works in tandem with his patients to foster their efforts to be their best as well. Dr. Duffy currently practices at Penn Medicine Valley Forge in Penn Personalized Care.

She is a magna cum laude graduate of The Culinary Institute of America, where she obtained an Associates Degree in Baking and Pastry Arts and two Bachelors Degrees; one in Applied Food Studies and the second in Business Management.
A longtime lover of food, Amanda has spent several years in the food industry and has become frustrated with our society's current relationship with what we eat. She believes the food that nourishes our bodies should taste just as amazing (if not more so) than “The Standard American Diet” and be enjoyed with the people that we care about. She looks forward to changing everyone’s expectations on plant based food in Kellyn Kitchens by bringing together local farmers, community partners, medical students, and the residents of the Lehigh Valley to improve the health and vitality of our surrounding community, one plant based meal at a time.

John Graham is the Senior Network Administrator of Fitness & Sports Performance at St. Luke's University Health Network in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. John has served as an adjunct professor at The College of New Jersey, DeSales University and currently Cedar Crest College. He presently serves as an associate editor for the National Strength and Conditioning Association Strength & Conditioning Journal. He is a Fellow of the National Strength & Conditioning Association, Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, Registered Strength & Conditioning Coach & American College of Sports Medicine Certified Exercise Physiologist.
John has authored or contributed to local, regional and national peer reviewed and lay publications on chronic disease & disability management, health, fitness and sports conditioning. He has given local, regional, national and international presentations on chronic disease & disability management, health, fitness and sports conditioning. He coordinates, designs and implements exercise prescriptions for athletes, fitness, and chronic diseased and disabled populations.

Jessica Heffelfinger
Jessica graduated with her BS in Exercise Science from East Stroudsburg University with a concentration in Clinical Exercise Physiology in 2013. She is certified through the American College of Sports Medicine. She is level 1 certified in the Functional Movement Screen. Jessica leads an active lifestyle, which includes hobbies ranging from skiing, to motorcycles, and triathlons and other endurance activities. Jessica and her soon to be husband, as well as their young daughter enjoy traveling and experiencing all this life has to offer. Jessica believes in preventative medicine through exercise, and regularly creates programming that translates into everyday functionality. Her ultimate goal is to help her clients understand and experience the changes that can’t always be seen in a mirror, so that they develop a deeper, and longer lasting appreciation for exercise.
Lynn Trizna
Farmer Lynn's passion for organic agriculture began the summer of 2007, when she spent the summer working on her first farm. Lynn received a Bachelor’s Degree in Urban Studies from the University of Pittsburgh, however, upon graduation she decided to follow a more rural path. Rather than return to school for organic agriculture, Lynn decided to take a hands on approach when learning to farm. Through volunteering, interning, and apprenticing on various farms, Lynn has gained the knowledge and experience needed to manage various farm projects.
Padma Fanning
Padma draws on over 30 years of experience as a student of mindfulness and meditation. She has taught mindfulness in the UK and US for over 20 years. Padma is a certified Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) and Mindfulness Based Pain Management (MBPM) instructor; offering a wealth of experience coaching individuals living with chronic health conditions and pain. She welcomes students new to mindfulness, and those wishing to deepen their practice.
