Meagan L. Grega, MD, FACLM, DipABLM, DipABFM 
Meagan L. Grega, MD, is the Co-Founder and Chief Medical Officer of Kellyn (www.kellyn.org), a 501(c)3 non-profit dedicated to making the Healthy Choice the Easy Choice.  Through the “Healthy Neighborhood Immersion Strategy”, Kellyn provides school-based healthy lifestyle education and “Garden as a Classroom” programs; supports access to nutrient-dense produce via the Eat Real Food Mobile Market; engages participants in hands-on, plant-based cooking classes in community settings and offers intensive therapeutic lifestyle change interventions for families, employers and community groups.  She is a graduate of Bucknell University with a B.S. in Biochemistry/Cell Biology and earned her MD degree from the University of Pennsylvania Medical School.  

Dr. Grega spent several years as a medical officer in the United States Navy.  She is honored to serve as faculty for the St. Luke’s University Health Network Anderson Campus Family Medicine and Internal Medicine Residency programs, Clinical Assistant Professor for the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University, faculty advisor for the LKSOM/SLUHN medical student Lifestyle Medicine Interest Group, as the current conference chair for the American College of Lifestyle Medicine (ACLM) Annual Meeting and as an ACLM representative to the American Medical Association House of Delegates.  She is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, a Fellow of the American College of Lifestyle Medicine, serves on the governing Board of the American Board of Lifestyle Medicine and is board certified in both Family Medicine and Lifestyle Medicine.

Mark Faries, PhD ​
​Mark D. Faries, PhD is a Professor and Extension Health Specialist in Behavioral Medicine with Family & Community Health of Texas A&M Health Extension, and Adjunct Faculty with the Texas A&M Naresh K. Vashist College of Medicine and the School of Public Health. His research and extension efforts explore why and how people initiate and maintain healthy behaviors—in short, medication adherence, when lifestyle is the medicine. He has specific interest in religious aspects of healthy lifestyles, and is the Founding Director of the Well Church Initiative, supporting clergy and faith communities with health education, training, and resources.

Melissa Sundermann, DO, FACLM, DipABLM 
​Dr. Melissa Sundermann is a double board-certified physician in Internal Medicine and Lifestyle Medicine with over 25 years of experience in medical practice. She has advanced training in Integrative Medicine from the University of Michigan and has completed a Professional Training Program in Mind-Body Medicine through the Center for Mind-Body Medicine. Dr. Sundermann believes in a holistic, patient-centered approach, empowering individuals to heal through self-care and the pillars of Lifestyle Medicine.

Widely recognized as “Doctor Outdoors,” she is a leading expert in Nature as Medicine and currently serves as the Founding Chair of the Nature as Medicine subcommittee for the American College of Lifestyle Medicine. She also serves as Chair of the Global Wellness Institute’s Lifestyle Medicine Initiative, where she works to expand global awareness of evidence-based lifestyle interventions.

Currently, Dr. Sundermann is the Medical Director of Lifestyle Medicine for Corewell Health System. She also serves as an Advisor for Social Prescribing USA, WalkFully, and InCaria—lending her expertise to initiatives at the forefront of community health, integrative healing, and innovative well-being solutions. Previously, she specialized in Longevity and Lifestyle Medicine with Lifespan Medicine and Canyon Ranch Wellness Resort. In addition to her clinical work, she is the co-founder of REVIVE! Lifestyle Medicine Well-Being Coaching and Retreats, and contributes educational content to several leading health and wellness organizations.

Her debut book, Doctor Outdoors’ Guide to Nature and Lifestyle Medicine, offers readers a transformative blend of science, stories, and strategies to reclaim health through the healing power of the natural world.

A lifelong outdoor enthusiast, Dr. Sundermann finds inspiration and healing in running, biking, hiking, skiing, and immersing herself in nature. She is a 12-time Boston Marathon finisher, a 3-time Full Ironman Triathlon finisher, and is currently training for upcoming ultramarathons. She firmly believes that “age is not your cage” and is dedicated to helping others cultivate vitality, resilience, and joy at every stage of life.

Kimberly Adams, M.S., LCSW
Kimberly Adams is a psychotherapist at St. Luke's University Health Network. She is located in the Sleep Medicine service line and treats Disorders of Initiation and Maintenance of Sleep (DIMS) such as chronic insomnia, circadian rhythm disorders, and sleep anxiety. This is often in collaboration with advanced medical practitioners treating Disorders of Excessive Sleepiness (DOES) including apnea and narcolepsy. Kimberly has advanced training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I) from the Perelman School of Medicine in Philadelphia. While she typically applies CBT-I as her initial intervention for patients, she can augment it as needed with a wide variety of approaches including Mindfulness-informed principles, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), behavioral activation, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). She is the mother of two amazing adult daughters, and she and her partner Joe have recently adopted a beautiful Goldendoodle named Honey B.

Michelle Thompson, DO, FACLM
​Dr. Michelle Thompson is a triple-board certified physician in Integrative, Lifestyle, and Osteopathic Family Medicine. A fellow of the American College of Lifestyle Medicine, she is also certified in Mind-Body Medicine and psychedelic therapies. Dr. Thompson has been featured in The New York Times for her work in physician wellness and AI in healthcare. She facilitates 25 unique Group Medical Visit types to promote whole-person healing. As Medical Director of Lifestyle Medicine at UPMC, she champions self-care as a foundation for patient and employee health reducing burnout and improving emotional intelligence. She is Vice President of Medical Staff at UPMC Horizon & Jameson and an Associate Professor at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. She also created Doctors in the Kitchen, a culinary medicine program. Dr. Thompson is reshaping medical education by leading trauma informed lifestyle medicine training in multiple residency programs and is a national advocate for transforming healthcare delivery.

Mike Stagaard, MS, CES
Mike Stagaard is the Senior Director of the Fitness & Sports Performance Centers at St. Luke’s University Health Network, overseeing a multi site system of facilities across Pennsylvania and New Jersey. In this role, he leads strategic planning, program development, staff advancement, and operational excellence for one of the region’s largest integrated fitness networks. His work focuses on building innovative, evidence based programs that support longevity, performance, and community health.

Mike serves on the advisory boards for the graduate Exercise Science programs at Cedar Crest College and East Stroudsburg University, where he provides guidance on curriculum development, emerging industry trends, and professional pathways for students pursuing careers in human performance and clinical exercise science.

With a background in exercise physiology and corrective exercise, Mike’s expertise spans strength and conditioning, medical fitness, corporate wellness, and population specific training. He has led initiatives designed to elevate access to high quality performance services, integrate multidisciplinary care teams, and expand community partnerships—including collaborations with school districts and corporate employers.

​Mike and his wife live in Allentown, PA, where he enjoys staying active through weight training, biking, and walking his dog, Topper the Flopper. He also loves antiquing with his wife and staying connected with his two daughters.

​Connor Moriarty, MA, LPC​
Connor is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Pennsylvania and a Gallup Certified Strengths Coach. He earned a dual master’s degree from Arcadia University in International Peace and Conflict Resolution and Counseling Psychology with a certification in Trauma and Recovery.

While his work is grounded in validated theories and techniques, Connor is also creative, continuously developing his capacity for meeting client needs with innovative strategies. Connor feels most at peace in the great outdoors. He is most drawn to water and trees, particularly places where there are both! Connor is a certified ACA level 1 kayak and stand up paddle board instructor.

Since integrating CliftonStrengths into his work, Connor’s approach has become even more unique and effective.   With a focus on behavioral and organizational sustainability, the Reset Outdoors Ascent program is the first strengths-and-nature based team conditioning program in the United States.

​Amanda Pietrobono, Director of Operations and Culinary Medicine at Kellyn Foundation
Amanda Pietrobono is the Director of Operations & Culinary Medicine at Kellyn Foundation. She is a magna cum laude graduate of The Culinary Institute of America, with an Associate Degree in Baking and Pastry Arts and Bachelor’s Degrees in Applied Food Studies and in Business Management.

As the Director of Operations and Culinary Medicine at Kellyn, Amanda oversees the staff in support of Kellyn’s “Healthy Neighborhood Immersion” Initiatives, while directly focusing on developing and evolving the culinary “Food as Medicine” initiatives.

A longtime lover of food, Chef Amanda spent years working in the food industry and became frustrated with society's current relationship with what we eat and how it negatively affects the health of individuals, families, and our nation. She believes the food that nourishes our bodies should taste just as amazing or better than “The Standard American Diet.” 

​Chef Amanda collaborates with local farmers, community partners, medical students, and resident physicians to improve the health and vitality of the community, one plant-based meal at a time. She is determined to develop and inspire healthy recipes and meals that have exceptional taste, are affordable, and convenient that allow individuals and families of all income levels to easily change to a plant-forward diet.

Robyn Tiger, MD, DipABLM
Robyn Tiger, MD, FACLM, DipABLM is a double board-certified physician in Diagnostic Radiology and Lifestyle Medicine, a fellow of American College of Lifestyle Medicine, Blue Zones Certified Physician and a trauma-informed mind-body expert. As founder of the wellness practice, StressFreeMD, she uniquely combines her training in medicine, yoga therapy, meditation & life coaching to teach others a whole person approach to relieve stress while increasing both lifespan and healthspan. As “The Self-Care Doctor”, her innovative coaching, courses, presentations, retreats, podcast and award-winning book focus on creating effective behavior changes in the key topics of stress relief, nutrition, exercise, sleep, social connection, escapes and nature while cultivating physical, mental, and emotional well-being and resilience.

Dr. Tiger is the author of Feeling Stressed is Optional, a unique multimodal interactive book which combines engaging content, videos and worksheets for the most effective transformative experience. She serves as lead faculty and subject matter expert in stress management for the Foundations of Lifestyle Medicine Board Review Manual, Chief Wellness Officer for Women in Medicine®, hosts the StressFreeMD Podcast, is a Western Carolina Medical Society Healthy Healer Partner, and co-founder of REVIVE! Lifestyle Medicine Well-Being Coaching & Retreats.

​She whole-heartedly believes “age is not a cage” and is deeply passionate about successfully guiding others to become the best versions of themselves and live their healthiest, happiest, most fulfilling lives!

Daniel Chen, MD, DipABLM
​Daniel Chen, MD, DipABLM is double board-certified in Internal Medicine and Lifestyle Medicine. He is a primary care clinician practicing in Spanish and English at Esperanza Health Center in North Philadelphia. Dr. Chen trained at Jefferson Medical College (now Sidney Kimmel) and completed his internship and residency at Temple University Hospital. A second-generation Chinese-American, born and raised in Southern California, he has found immense joy in connecting what he does in his own kitchen to everyone around him through a delicious, nutritious, plant-based, and culturally connected approach to food. Inspired by his own health journey as a heart attack and cancer survivor, he leads a continually expanding initiative for which he was awarded the Pennsylvania Association of Community Health Centers Apex award for Innovation in 2024 implementing a multi-disciplinary, interactive model using food, movement, and behavioral health to support positive lifestyle changes with patients and work towards health justice. He has been an invited speaker, podcast guest, and workshop presenter and contributes as part of the Medical Advisory Board at the T. Colin Campbell Center for Nutrition Studies. He is also co-chair of the American College of Lifestyle Medicine’s Health Equity Achieved through Lifestyle Medicine (HEAL) Initiative. He and his wife, Charlene, also a physician, are living out the adventure of raising their two school-aged children plant-strong.

Sara Martinez, MPH
Sara Martinez, MPH, is a former Certified Child Life Specialist and the current Co-Executive Director of the Mindful Child Initiative (MCI), where she leads efforts to integrate evidence-informed, developmentally appropriate mindfulness education into schools and communities across the Lehigh Valley.

With a background in public health, Sara approaches this work through a population-health lens, viewing MCI as both an educational initiative and a preventive public health strategy. Her experience bridges clinical, educational, and community-based settings, allowing her to translate research into practical tools for classrooms and everyday life. She is especially passionate about early intervention and embedding mindfulness into the culture of schools and communities rather than treating it as a one-time program.

Outside of work, Sara enjoys deepening her mindfulness and yoga practice, running, traveling, and spending quality time with family and friends.

Jason Sizemore, M.Ed.
Jason Sizemore, M.Ed., served PreK-8th grade public school students in Harrisburg, PA, the five boroughs of NYC and Allentown, PA for 21 years as a teacher & administrator. Jason’s passion for the welfare of all beings who are within the walls of our schools and beyond has driven him to support the Mindful Child Initiative as its Co-Executive Director by working with students, school staff and community organizations to provide self-care and mindfulness training and experiences while also serving as an advocate for the importance and value of trauma informed mindfulness education.  Jason also owns Butterhead Kitchen, offering plant based events, cooking experiences and products in the Lehigh Valley and beyond.

John Graham, MS, ACSM EP-C, CSCS*D, RSCC*E, FNSCA
John Graham is the Senior Network Administrator, Lifestyle Health & Wellness, Fitness & Sports Performance at St. Luke's University Health Network in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. John is currently pursuing his Doctorate of Health Sciences at East Stroudsburg University. John has served as an adjunct professor at The College of New Jersey, DeSales University and Cedar Crest College. He presently serves as an associate editor for the National Strength and Conditioning Association Strength & Conditioning Journal. He is a Fellow of the National Strength & Conditioning Association, Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, Registered Strength & Conditioning Coach & American College of Sports Medicine Certified Exercise Physiologist. 

John is the Co-Author of Metabolic Training and has contributed to local, regional and national peer reviewed and lay publications on metabolic training, health, fitness, sports conditioning and chronic conditions and disorders management. He has given local, regional, national and international presentations on metabolic training, health, fitness, sports conditioning and chronic conditions and disorders management. He coordinates, designs and implements exercise prescriptions for athletes, fitness, and chronic conditions management populations. 

John has been recognized by the American Council on Exercise, Medical Fitness Association, National Multiple Sclerosis Society, National Strength and Conditioning Association, Eastern Pennsylvania Business Journal, Pennsylvania State Senate, Pennsylvania House of Representatives and Hamot Health Systems for his contributions to fitness and sports performance. John was recognized in 2019 as the Morning Call Readers’ Choice Award Winner for Personal Fitness Trainer. He was awarded the National Strength and Conditioning Association Strength & Conditioning Journal Editorial Excellence Award in 2000.

Lydia Alexander, MD, MFOMA, DABOM, DABLM
Dr. Lydia Alexander is a leader in obesity medicine, lifestyle medicine, and internal medicine, certified by the American Board of Obesity Medicine (ABOM) and the American Board of Lifestyle Medicine (ABLM). As a medical chef trained at Tulane University’s Goldring Center for Culinary Medicine, she seamlessly integrates comprehensive obesity care, lifestyle medicine and the power of using food as medicine to treat obesity and metabolic health.

A recognized thought leader, Dr. Alexander earned the 2018 Obesity Medicine Clinician of the Year Award and the 2019 Dr. Raymond E. Dietz Meritorious Service Award.

Dr. Alexander’s recent projects have included chapter co-author on obesity for the 2025 publication, Lifestyle Medicine and the Primary Care Provider: A Practical Approach to Delivering Whole Health, in collaboration with the American College of Lifestyle Medicine (ACLM). This chapter, within the larger context of Lifestyle Medicine, provides primary care clinicians with actionable guidance on the pillars of obesity treatment in primary care settings; Nutritional Priorities to Support GLP-1 Therapy for Obesity: An ACLM/ASN/OMA/TOS Joint Advisory published spring 2025; OMA/TOS/OAC Clinical Practice Guidelines for Obesity pharmacotherapy.

Dr. Alexander earned her undergraduate degree from Tufts University, her Doctor of Medicine from UC Davis School of Medicine, and completed her internal medicine residency at Kaiser Permanente San Francisco, where she also served as Chief Resident and continues to mentor residents at Enara Health.

Dr. Alexander is passionate about the practice of obesity medicine, committed to working with the OMA as its Immediate Past President, to further the mission of educating primary care providers about the benefits of treating the “roots, not the fruits” of obesity. She loves spending time with her four children, reading, rock climbing, riding bicycles and motorcycles and...COOKING!

Nidhi Mehta, MD, FACC
Dr. Nidhi Mehta is a cardiologist with Lehigh Valley Health Network, part of Jefferson Health and practices with LVPG Cardiology – Muhlenberg in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.   
 
She completed her medical education at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. From there, she completed her internal medicine residency and fellowship in cardiovascular disease at Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.  
 
Dr. Mehta has clinical interests in preventative cardiology, women’s cardiovascular health and heart and pregnancy. She serves as the Assistant Director of the Women’s Heart and Vascular Program at Lehigh Valley Health Network, part of Jefferson Health and plays a pivotal role in the Cardiac Prevention program and Cardio-Obstetrics program. She is a true patient advocate and is always willing to go out of the way to educate the community about heart disease and the importance of a heart healthy lifestyle. She also serves on the Board of Directors for the Lehigh Valley and Berks Chapter of the American Heart Association.  

When not caring for patients or advocating for heart disease prevention, Dr. Mehta is spending time with her family, traveling and hiking.

Tessa and Reuben DeMaster
Reuben and Tessa DeMaster are the husband-and-wife team behind Willow Haven Farm in New Tripoli, Pennsylvania. Since founding the farm in 2009, they have been dedicated to regenerative farming practices that build healthy soil, care for the land, and produce nourishing food for their community. Through their family farm and local food business, they are passionate about helping connect people to food they can trust and the farmers who grow it.
