During this 90-minute workshop, you will be led through a series of mindfulness exercises designed to support a healthier response to stress.

11:30AM – 1:30PM: "Make Friends with Food; A Whole Food, Plant Based Overview & Cooking Demo"
Join SLUHN Lifestyle Medicine certified staff to learn the basics of a whole food, plant-based diet and the health benefits of this type of eating pattern. The team will share recipe ideas and provide participants the opportunity to taste test a number of plant-based foods during this session.

2:00PM – 3:30PM: "Organic Gardening to Improve Your Health and the Health of Your Soil"
In 1947, J.I. Rodale stated, "Healthy Soil=Healthy Food=Healthy People" and this remains true today! Join Farmer Lynn and Dr. Coyle to learn how personal health is linked to the health of your soil and how to improve both.
